Bethesda Work­shops — Coor­di­nated by Marnie Ferree

The mis­sion of Bethesda Work­shops and Min­istry is to encour­age sex­ual whole­ness by min­is­ter­ing to those dam­aged by sex­ual abuse, sin, and addic­tion. We seek to pro­vide a place of heal­ing where peo­ple can begin a process of restora­tion with God, them­selves, with oth­ers, and within their marriages.

We use the best clin­i­cal strate­gies, cou­pled with Chris­t­ian prin­ci­ples, to achieve spir­i­tual, emo­tional, behav­ioral, and rela­tional heal­ing. We desire to edu­cate coun­selors, church lead­ers, and the com­mu­nity of faith about the prin­ci­ples and prac­tice of sex­ual whole­ness. We seek to be a resource of knowl­edge, empow­er­ment, and refer­ral to both seek­ers of sex­ual integrity and the helpers who guide them.

Bethesda’s main min­istry focus is con­duct­ing inten­sive work­shops (“treat­ment”) for recov­ery from sex­ual addic­tion and co-​addiction. The spe­cific offer­ings are:

ü Heal­ing for Men — for male sex addicts

ü Heal­ing for Women — for female sex addicts

ü Heal­ing for Spouses — for spouses of addicts (co-​addicts)

ü Heal­ing for Cou­ples — for cou­ples in recov­ery from sex­ual addiction
